What exactly is Demi?

Alteña Blanco Crafted With

Tequila

Los Altos de Jalisco sits at altitude. The agave that grows here takes longer to mature, which turns out to be exactly the point. The red clay soil — locally called barro rojo — draws minerals upward through the plant over eight to twelve years of slow growth, producing a piña with more natural sugars and a complexity you can taste immediately. It also tends toward a sweeter, more floral expression than the lowland varieties. We chose it deliberately.

We source our agave from the highlands and pair it with an in-house agave distillate, produced at our Michigan distillery. The result is a blanco with the bones of Los Altos — bright citrus, white pepper, cooked agave sweetness — and a proof that lets the flavour speak rather than the burn. At 20% ABV, nothing is masked.
